<aside> 💡 If WhatsApp users already have internet, why would they need a text-based search engine?

Through several interviews with local Ghanians and South Africans, we found that a popular data package among our segment (students) is the affordable social media package. With it, you have a set amount of data but only to be used for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and other popular social media platforms. With such limited internet access, consumers are still missing the ability to freely access information through Google.

The case to be made for WhatsApp integration of Unity Search is clear:

  1. It will allow consumers with limited internet (social media bundle) to access key information without paying for SMS
  2. It will alleviate any geographic restrictions allowing anyone, anywhere to use Unity Search without needing to be within the local phone number service area.

And if this service can be also available on WhatsApp it would be a stress relief of National data.

Does it work with WhatsApp as well? That would be best because it's cheaper for me compared to SMS.

Do you have this on WhatsApp yet? That would be very helpful since I'm always on it.
